Geneva Study Bible included study notes from the Protestant Reformers, that all proclaimed that the Popes of Rome were the Antichrist beast.

The Papacy is the Antichrist - Destroyer of Religious Freedom, instigated its Holy Roman medieval Inquisition, persecuted the Protestant Reformation, burned people at the stake as Heretics so called, corrupted Christianity, banned the Bible and claims to be in the place of Christ on earth, and that all must obey the Pope as if he were God.
